Did you know that Mess Creates Stress?

When you have a life that is filled with clutter, it is impossible to be organized and see things clearly.

To eliminate the Clutter in your life, you need to do a major overhaul at least twice a year and a minor clean up every quarter.

Here is a process to eliminate the Clutter in your life.

Closet — If you have not worn the item in the last year, give it away. If you have multiple sizes, pick a size, stick with it and give every other size away.

Garage — This is NOT a large storage bin for your clutter. If you cannot park in your garage, have a garage sale and then donate everything that is not sold. Then park you car(s) in the garage

Office — Digitized all that can be stored in the cloud. People need to see you when they walk into your office not all of your stuff. If you don’t use it it’s time to lose it.

Car — You car is a means of transportation, not a mobile storage unit. The only items that you need in your vehicle are an energy survival kit in the trunk, and an umbrella. Everything else is just excess junk.

Reminder once you have removed all of the Clutter, conduct quarterly audits to ensure that you are not falling back into old hoarding habits. Then twice a year conduct your overhauls and donate any item that has not been used during its season.

Remember mess creates stress which prohibits you from becoming your best.
